Door Launchers

Hi all,

I'm thinking of buying the DPNW "Wings-A-Loft" Door Launchers to fit on my car when it arrives. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and what your thoughts are? I don't suppose anyone already in the UK has a kit they want to sell?

I'm planning on doing the headlights/fog light modification first but I figured this mod might be more acceptable, judging my the lack of response to my iPad mod post

Cheers!

Max

My launchers have never quite fully worked. It is really fiddly and hard to get right - before you install them you first need to get everything working perfectly, and this is the most of the battle - i.e. torsion bars, locking system, striker pins, etc.etc.
On the 1 or 2 days per year that mine work it is quite a fun thing to have though :)

Be interesting to see how well they work when the door seals are fitted. I'd guess not so great.

Door alignment, striker pin setup etc needs to be absolutely perfect for these to work well. I could think of better things to spend $200 - $450 on. Each to their own though.

Door launcher works better with seals fitted has they help spring the door open that little bit at start up.
