Hi everyone, thanks for the warm welcome, I have been busy reading many posts on lots of subjects from Frame rebuilds, electrics and owners cars.

In no rush to buy as need to move on the Lotus for space first and want to do my homework. I imported a Ferrari Mondial from California so know the process and certainly an option provided I can get some recent detailed photos of the underside.
I do like the Delorean at a more sensible ride height as lots of the US cars sit really high.
I am off to the NEC classic show this weekend so certain to see a couple there to get my fix, I did look at one at the Haynes motor museum recently.
My wife likes the idea of an auto as that is all she drives so unable to use my Lotus cars, I like the manual idea more though and did like the look of the twin turbo one for sale in the US last week! :D

Time to crack on with more reading and getting the Esprit painted ready to sell in the spring.
I may have lots of questions as I build my knowledge, been reading various buyers guides. Are there any good books worth buying?
ATB
Dave :-)

Hi Dave
Been reading about your car, you are doing some great work and it looks to be a good car!
Certainly could be interested in the future.
:) Dave

Hello everyone, I`m Szabi, owner of VIN1052. My car is registered (and stored) in my home country Hungary, but I am planning to move her to the UK as I have been living in Surrey for 2 years. I would like to get in touch with other Delorean owners who imported their cars from the EU, although I know this is not the usual direction of D-migration in Europe. Either way, if you have experience with registering an EU car in the UK, please pm me here or contact me on Facebook (user name Delorean Szabi). Thank you.
