As some of you know I went over to Dublin and bought the D that was on “donedeal” these last few months have been a nightmare regarding doing all kinds of jobs from washer bottle to handbrake - from fog light switch to CV boots but today it passed its MOT - ok it needs the handbrake looking at ( keep a block paver in the boot ) and a small patch welded on front part of chassis and a new steering rack ! but he passed it - must be honest he was very lenient- he asked me if I was planning on selling it before he commenced the test - now I just need to register it with the DVLA and put my cherished plate on it - a big thank you to Arran for sending me my parts next day ( fantastic service ) and Stuart Rees for traveling 40 miles over the prescelli mountains for something like 5 Sunday’s to get the car ready.

Well done, always a good feeling when you get that pass certificate!

So that looks like at least 5 D's in south/west wales - stu got 2 - spud 1 - me 1 and Tristan about to get one - anyone know how many are registered in the whole of the U.K. ? Looked on DVLA website and not found any info
