In talking to a few owners lately, one or two own imported cars that have maybe been sold on in the UK a couple of times and the US history has been either lost or mislaid etc.

The DeLorean musuem has information on the Original owners of nearly 6000 vins, if your vin is listed in the BI column then you could for a very small fee find out the first owner and dealership information.

Sods law they dont have #2001.... just as well i have all the details i need in a file that came with the car

I got the framed warranty card from them a few months ago. Amazing they still have this info...
I knew who the original "driver" of the car was but the car was actually owned by one of his companys. (Casino in Lake Tahoe)
