Well let’s hope the only similarity is the stainless then, if it has any Delorean parts it’s doomed

It will more than likely be leaking oil if it has delorean parts and the door handles would snap too making entry very difficult

Cracks me up how on one hand Tesla, low emissions etc etc.... SpaceX and this beast, each test launch is probably about a gazillion cars for a year and he is knocking them out left right and centre.

I do like Elon, amazed at him swapping from Carbon fibre to stainless but he seems struck on it, not just from a cost perspective.

"Carbon fiber material costs about $130,000 a ton, he said. Stainless steel sells for $2,500 a ton."

"Steel is easy to weld, and weather resistant," Musk added. "The evidence being that we welded this outdoors, without a factory. Honestly, I'm in love with steel."

As long as he pushes tech forward with Tesla and Spacex I don't mind so much. Really want to see the Starship lift off, but also want to see the Falcon Heavy. Watching the previous 2 launches live stream was awesome!
