If it leaks into the passenger footwell (like mine does  ), I wouldn't be surprised if its rusted the seat slider rails and stained the carpet with rust.

That makes a lot of sense. Where was it leaking from? I think the car has had a complete passenger door replaced or work done on it. The more I look at the pictures, all the interior panels are missing along with the mirror glass

Tbh the wing mirror glass is a simple fix. DeGo have convex mirrors and even if the car had stock mirrors in place, i would recommend upgrading to the convex ones anyway. You'd be surprised at how much more you can see compared to the flat stock ones.

Hopefully, some of that door stuff will be in the frunk. If not, it appears like most of it you can get via DeGo. The actual panels/door cards may be tricky to source in the uk though. I note that DMCH has the uppers for at least for $275 but youll need to also account for import duty on top of that. Still, as project interiors go, it looks pretty decent

Where do I start...
Nutshells and debris in the bottom of the door blocking the drain holes. water was leaking past the window sealant and running down the inside front of the door behind the trim pieces. And there is a rather large leak that goes between the vinyl and fibreglass on the a pillar, through the dashboard and drips off the bottom of the wires onto the floor. I end up with deep puddles if its been in heavy rain overnight.
Missing mirror glass is an easy fix though.
