De Lorean EuroTec

Hi all,

Im writing to ask for any information/help from historians and registrars.
Im trying to trace the history & factory VIN of my dad's old DeLorean, KOX 731W registration

Backstory:
Owner: Ian Matthews

Location: Moira, Northern Ireland

History. Acquired in early 1990s (imported aorund may 1990 i believe). One of the gullwing doors had damage and got replaced, he then got the car painted red / gloss red in Moira (still have the old damaged door)

Events: Kept for over two decades, attended Belfast City Hall for Eurofest i think as i can find a forum about it (viewtopic.php?f=56&t=321)

Sold: Somewhere around mid-2017 sold it and DVLA says it was permanently exported shortly after.

I was only about 7 when it got sold, I hope and plan to find where it went, keep track of its history, and just maybe buy it back for him some day.

Also any information from like maybe what country it got exported too after 2017 and the vin number would be great.

Would mean alot for some help/information

The car was last in Harrow/Uxbridge area and still painted red in 2017
