I seriously doubt that any car can stand up against the forces from two dump trucks. By the way, did you notice the bonnet of that red truck? Apparently the car slash blob of steel provided some resistance.

we owned a smart car for about 6 years and i can think of cars that are a lot worse!!

That Smart is very well built. But the barrier is built better

I think I'd rather be in the Smart. I think it's inevitable that the barrier is going to win, so the less weight behind you the less the car's gonna crumple. Having said that I think, head-on at 60 mph, death is also inevitable - whatever you're in. I can't find the video, but I'm sure that was Fifth Gear too, when they concluded that.
