UK Mail address requested

Hi,

I'd just won a bid on an ebay item that needs to become in my possession obviously. The item is about 4 KG but the dude says shipping it will cost me over 50 pounds, while delivery inside the Uk is only 7 pounds. Now I've only paid 6 pounds for the item to start with maybe I could pick it up in June. No they're not clumps.

So the question is: Arran, could accept the item for me and hold on to it for a few months?

Of course Rob - I have a UK address ;) - and even my own postcode because I am sooo important! 8-)

Caley Hall
Old Hunstanton
PE36 6HH

You can use your name on the address - it all comes direct to me anyway

It would cost £20 to send from me to you, but of course it's no problem for me to hold on to it until June if you're in no hurry!

You could just point the seller to www.interparcel.com

I think Rob's even tighter than us lot Martin! ;) But Interparcel is still about £20 for 4 kilos to The Netherlands, and for an item that cost £6 I guess collection makes more sense!

Yes I am tight (even my belly is) but indeed paying 6 to 9 times the price to get it sooner is ridiculous. And yes the seller warned me about it. It's only an 80's prop so no real hurry. I bought it because I like the 6-pound price on it. It'll look nice in my museum (that currently only consists of an analogue 1940's typewriter worth a tenner). So no real hurry there!
