While you were all at Caley Hall last week, helping those two ladies do their community service, I had to suffer through some horrendous hardships.

Yes, I had to spend a week on this:

Apparently joined by the Page 3 girls summer outing, based on the view on the Lido Deck. So one afternoon as I was going to my cabin (for a cold shower) this sign caught my eye:

Now, you may have them all over the Channel ferries, but this is the first one I've seen in its natural environment.
I recalled the name – RFD, having passed it about a thousand times on the road.

Depending on who you ask, Dunmurry is famous for one of three things:

1. F**k All
2. The DeLorean
3. Vivian Campbell from Def Leppard

But not life rafts. How ironic is it that the city (in its broadest metro sense) that brought the world the Titanic, who’s loss of life was mainly due to a lack of life-rafts (and life-boats), is now a global leader in their manufacture.

There's a pattern if you didn't see it:

- Titanic - Sank
- DeLorean - Bankrupt
- Def Leppard - Future Unknown
- Life Boats - Untested as of yet, probably bunk

I'm am very sorry if I have offended you or anybody else by my last statement. At least for the DeLorean and the Titanic their unfortunes were caused by external factors (ie. actual use).

We have a saying that computers or programs are never the problem. Its the actual people that (want to) use them.

Wow yes that is pretty ironic! Good find too!

Shame that Vivian Campbell wasn't there back in these days. Classic song!:

Absolutely no offence taken, Rob. My comment was meant in jest, but it doesn't always read that way.

Sarcasm on the internet is a slippery slope, and I fell off.

(My wife and I were a little apprehensive about the liferafts, if the ship did sink - Titanic and all that)
