Quatro turned up at the weekend

My mums cousin came to our annual sailing regatta BBQ this weekend and I was chuffed to see that he has still got his mint Audi Quatro, it's a beauty, always garage kept, 42,000miles on the clock with full service history.

This car was originally a press/promotion car for Audi before he bought it back in the 80's.

Again camera phone doesn't do it justice...

The red paintwork is flawless, quite somthing especially for a 25+year old red car and you could eat your dinner of the engine bay.

Very Nice James....now I gotta get one of them :D

But ditto on your red paintwork ;)

You could eat your dinner anywhere off my 944, but I'd probably go nuts if food came within 10 yards of it.

Like the Audi, 1980's cars are so cool. 8-)

Ooh Nice! Wish I knew someone with a red Quattro.

Didn't Dan Shane used to have a (black) Quattro?

Hi Jez,

Its one of the first S2's The 944 swan song. Has the 3 litre vario-cam engine. 1989. The wheels were the "old" wheels from my Cayster, before I fitted the 19" techno's. Still got the original S2 design 90 wheels, but I like the Boxster ones on it.

I chose this 944 carefully (I've had 7 other 944 in the past) This car has every option available that year inc Full linen leather and air con. Just had to buy it when I saw the potential. (although I have put new front wings, sills, rear quarter bottoms and retrimmed the interior) But the car cost me £800 off flea bay to buy so not a bad result eh!

Darren-tec

nice try James.....but I have limited parking space at Collins Towers ;)
