I think that says "Lamborghini" on the back, so I assume it's a Lamborghini Espada :)

Lamborghini Espada, I only recognised because I had matchbox car like it back in the 70's

I must have a small fortune in matchbox cars I believe because they are still in my mum and dads loft, their is at least 2 of those stack-a-bins full of matchbox, corgi and dinky cars all from the 70's, all unboxed mind you!!!

I did have a corgi blue MKI rally Escort but I lost it at infant school, I have scoured Ebay for years looking for one but to no avail!!!

I love those crazy old 70s supercars and grand tourers. The Lamborghini Urraco was brilliant too...

Hi Bozzy,

Yep as the guys said its an Espada. Antony Hawkes my good friend runs the owners club and has 4 of em

They have the same V12 as the Miura, but instead of the miura transverse layout and a gear box in the bottom, the Espada has it longitudinally with a traditional box on the back.

Value, poor £4000, average £10,000. Concours £35,000. Same sort of money as a De, but 100 x trouble with mega, mega mega, mega, mega (did I emphasize that enough) expensive parts and servicing.

They are the unloved Lambo as a result.

Rot worse than a 70's alfa or lancia too.

Cheers Darren .. It did stand out .. Even for a brown car

Are the parts expensive to buy ? ;)
