I am 'Down South' in this little place called Maidstone, Kent.......

I have survived Watford Gap Passport control and had the pleasure of the Dartford Tunnel scenic car park.........

They don't even have gravy n mushy peas with chips and all the beer is watery...

Sorry that we southerners dont like peas which are already digested (i.e. "mushy") or beer that has bark in it

you should have given me a call Nick honey, Tone and I would have met up with for beer, or a cuppa T, what ever tickles your fancy. Did you notice the quality of driving by fellow road users rapidly diminish in London & surrounding county's??? Welcome to the South!!

Definately true about the driving there!

If I have to go back down there again I will let you know, go for a curry/ beer etc.

Now, back to my proper beer (no bark Tom H, just proper hops un-watered down)
