Any H2G2 fans out there?

In honor of Douglas Adams (would have been) 61st birthday, today's Google Doodle is an audio-visual interactive masterpiece

obviously

or see the whole thing here after today, which will be tomorrow

including a 4 minute video of all it can do.

(Anyone here remember the Radio 2 series?)

Oh YES!!!

I listened to it first time around on the radiogram, then rushed out and ordered the BBC recording from my local record store. (Because we had no way of recording it directly from the radiogram. We didn't own one of those modern tape cassette machines) It took 2 weeks to come into the shop and was a double LP (33&1/3rpm)

That was back in 1979.

A few years later the BBC made it into a TV series using most of the original cast from the Radio show.

I found it a few years back on a released BBC DVD.

Thanks for posting Dermot :D
