Being as we all love a car made from strange material, I thought I'd buy another. Rather different though, this one, in that its made from cotton. :D

It's one of the cars which was used in the soon to be released Guy Ritchie film, 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E'

AWESOME!!!
A Traband??? or Trabbi as the ethusiasts call it.
Where did you get that smelly bastard with classic east German plates too?? Love that car, and are rather hard to get in Germany as it is the iconic car for them.
Is this a 600 or 601?
There was a movie with Thomas Gottschalk a decade back. "Trabbi goes to Hollywood" or the US title "Driving me Crazy"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104142/

CAUTION: Several beers needed to absorb that movie....

And also a classis "Go trabbi Go" but it is in German.

I bought it off the guy who sourced the cars for the movie. He runs a business getting cars for film production companies, rent's them out to them for how ever long they need them during filming, then sells them on.
It's a 601.

love the brick "handbrake".
Tie a sting to it to pull away from the wheel while sitting in the Trabbi... then you have upgraded to a "handbrick" which sounds just like a Handbrake;)
