Well for those not on facebook over the last 6 months i have been recommissioning my very first car which has been in storage at my dads in Norfolk for the last 11 years ! Its needed a fair bit of work but the weekend before eurotec it finally made it back on the road ...







then today i added these wheels, any thoughts on what looks best ...







i like the way the new wheels fill out the arches nicely but still not 100% on them

Hubcaps - looks way classier. The bling ones make it look a little too Vauxhall Nova, if you know what I mean

On that car I prefer stock mate

The originals are just a bit narrow, i guess i do own the chavved banana though so maybe im wrong lol

And I bet its got a sub in the boot, 6x9s on the parcel shelf, and K&N air filter too?

It used to have 7x10s in a custom made stelth shelf, never had a sub in this one though, its got the standard parcel shelf back in now

Stock looks best Mike, in my opinion.

Looks very clean Mike, good job, stock wheels is my vote too

Well, that was a shock to see this morning - I had one as my (almost) first car also (2nd car really). Same blue, same wheel covers, same 1983 MY but mine was the 1.6D, I probably did 100k in it commuting to my first job. Great little car.
