Thanks Julian! Good to know. All ok just now.

750's Lights are wired, not sure how good they are, but I don't need an mot. 650 is cleaned up a bit, and I think just about ready for mot.

I need tyres for the 750' so left it on stands. Before I put them away, I took a couple of pics of them blinking in the sun.

I made another mouth for the 750s daft face out of black lecky tape after this, but no pics.

And cleaned the cycle parts of the 650 up too after this. Engine is really grubby tho, if it gets an mot I will have to attend to that.

Por-15'd bits on the 650 are a bit glaring, but overall not too bad. Better than it was.

Right, back south tomorrow morning, I may pick this thread up again later!

Cheers. A

MOT obtained today on the silver 650. Same guy I use for the D about 20 miles away. Awesome ride to reacquaint myself after 13 years. Spanked it on the way home, and it just got sweeter! Not even very leaky! (If it comes out the breathers, I don't count that as leaks. may fit a catch tank as per the racer). However, my mother does not make this distinction, thus the polythene ;)

Then a little blast on Bikey McBikeface with its new, correct sized boots. Turns in beautiful, and has that "fairground ride" feeling. Not in the slightest comfortable. It's a long ride to Liverpool, then on to London after the Isle of Man! Will need a cushion, and maybe an osteopath!

Nearly ready for the Manx.

Very nice Andy !

I don't mean to hijack your thread but I have some good news on my bike front, as some of you will know back on 2011 I owned a Blue Yamaha Fazer 600, It was my 1st "big bike" and i had it for around a year, around at this point in time me and Gem were getting married and I had to sell my prized bike for the deposit on the wedding venue, well fast forward 4 years and by pure fluke I was searching on ebay and what should I find, yup you guessed it, my Fazer!
To cut a long story short, the guy that I had sold the bike too in late 2011 unfortunately got terminal cancer and passed away apparently without ever riding the bike, it had then sat unused until this year when it was recommissioned, several phone calls went back and forth and I almost lost the bike again as someone had put a deposit on it but then couldn't come up with the cash so I of course stepped in with some help from good old dad and well...
