Looking for some advice on having a low volume run of small pcb's made. Single sided nothing flash.

What software would be recommended for the board design and what company to use for both value for money and good quality for the board production.

To get small scale PCB's made you can try PCB pool. https://www.pcb-pool.com
They basically produce several designs on 1 panel to reduce tooling costs as its shared. If you use a conventional PCB company they will change you a fee for tooling etc so costs more although some will do a prototyping service.
On software there's plenty of gerber software, some free, just find what you get on with and how complicated your circuit is. I assume a single layer one sided board?
