So poirot is home and is great fun to drive, next job is the cambelt and waterpump :jzd:

Hi all
Since the mot there was one thing i neglected to mention, whilst on the MOT ramp Poirot got a bit hot because i hadn't yet fitted a new fan sensor that i knew needed replacing but ran out of time to do before the MOT, Anyway it overheated when we were doing the emission check which unfortunately spelt the end for the original 28 year old radiator, so of course i used the opportunity for an upgrade ;) ...

And as i was planning to do the cambelt and waterpump, it actually made that job easier having the rad out so friday i made a start...

So poirot now has a new gates cambelt kit, gates waterpump, new camshaft seals, front crank seal, oil & filter change and a new Japspeed rad and antifreeze, its now running superb !!!!
Last night i took it for its first hooning around some coutry lanes, its sooo much fun !!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Yea that Rad is a lovely bit of kit, I got lucky on that, they are £189 new, i went on ebay and found a guy selling one brand new unused, i got it for £85 ! Not much more than a crappy Euros one
