I thought maybe the 'Lambda sond' ones were EFI, but I wasn't quite sure whether the 2.3 was a straight 4 or a V6???
I always went by the rule of thumb, 240 was 4 cylinder and 260 was 6 cylinder, and same with the 700 series but I'm not quite sure thats right???? I have checked e-bay, Piston heads and autotrader and these cars are like rocking horse shit!!!

I think scrapyard is about the level we want to be hitting. Remember it doesn't need to work! But does need most of the engine left!

This would come under Option 3:

Option 3) Any crap looking car with a with V6 PRV K-Jet engine- borrow with driver "for a drink"

But the Alpine would fail on "crap looking". It would need to be slow too, which an Alpine isn't! ;)

Early Espace would be great. I doubt there are any left though, same with the Peugeots I would reckon.

cars with a PRV, I've spent the last hour and a half of Uncle Henry's time scouring the Interweb and have drawn a blank. How about borrowing one from the volvo owners club, you do intend to give it back in one piece??? I think the only way you might find one is in local ads or by chance locally???
