Well, what another fantastic weekend, just went far too quickly again for my liking! I'm currently sat here on my sofa with Mr Admin Bloke "watching" Babestation (Nick likes 'Paige' ) reflecting on it all!

Massive thanks to Tyson and Maria for letting me reap the Honda to get home Friday night, was probably the most sensible thing to do given how bad the driving conditions were that night. So I really appreciated the kind offer.

Thanks to Dan for changing my oil and looking after my car whilst I was away on Saturday. I was very touched by the welcoming I got when I arrived back, despite it being nearly 1am Sunday morning!! The greeting I had from the gorgeous Jane more than justified me coming back!!

Thanks also to Jules for letting me reap his 'a'.

Finally, thanks to Arran and his lovely staff for all of your superb hospitality once again. Everything was top notch as always!!

As Jules said, these events do just continue to get better and better and I couldn't think of anything else I would rather do than spend my time with some of the greatest people I have come to regard as very, very good friends.

Until the next time! :dmcdoors:

I'd just like to echo what everyone else has already said. I had a wonderful time. Too many people to thank so thanks to everybody! Arran's staff are amazing to put up with us lot till the early hours. Also how many hotels would lend a cooking pan from the kitchen to change the oil in a delorean in the carpark! See you all soon

When we were driving towards London, we saw the massive traffic coming up towards the coast, looked like a 15 mile queue. At the end, we met a DeLorean coming towards us with a black plate starting with 'MAN-???'. I hope he didn't get caught in the crowd might have overheated!

Made for interesting gravy today! Carl reaping again! Suffice to say it is no longer a kitchen pan - Official DeLorean Club Oil Change Pan! May have to use it as an annual award!

Well after my late departure last night my car did in fact get me home at 2am, didn't miss a beat! Running well, albeit a bit rougher than normal (suspect my plugs and injectors will need replacing) - so huge thanks to EVERYONE who helped me get her running again...

So on Friday, if memory serves (and I'm becoming increasingly Alzheimertastic as Mike Ward will testify) - the prime reapees were:
Darren - putting aside his revulsion at the non-OEMness of my wretched motor
Bozzy - putting in a tireless shift throughout the day
Dan Stacey - getting busy with metering heads and injectors
Nick T - lending fuel pressure testers and considerable wisdom
Tony - supplying his usual wisdom, injector love and power from his motor when my battery ran down
Ed - for supplying various bits and winking at me a lot. But I'm not quite sure who reaped who here. :)

I have to say I wasn't the happiest bunny on Friday. Would have happily sold the car for a bag of chips if anyone had offered!

But on Saturday we made some real progress. Another crowd of reapees couldn't wait to get in on the act...
Bozzy - hanging in there all day, getting dirty under the car and finding the fuel kink
Al - got under the car after Bozzy and got drenched in fuel for his trouble! Put in a long shift.
Dan Shane - amazing memory of exactly how everything works after 4 years! Another long shift.
James RG - saw what fun it was under my car and couldn't wait to join Al in creating some new gas leaks.
Chris Bale - donating 4 litres of fuel after my car ran out with the various fuel pump priming
Darren - for perpetually fielding my questions (how he loves them). This time about interiors.
Nick T - 3mm Allen Key reaped again, along with jump start pack!
Arran - providing PTFE tape, Nurofen and an accumulator that wasn't ultimately needed.

I'm convinced I've forgotten people, when everyone lends a hand it's difficult to remember exactly who did what!

But in the end a great weekend, huge thanks to Arran for Haley Call's (spoonerism intended as to not trouble Arran's google results) amazing hospitality and of course the WHOLE DeLorean Club for making it so special.

Till next time, when hopefully someone else can knock me off my Slowest DeLorean spot! :D
