Thanks for another awesome weekend. Friday was easily one of the best days of my life to be honest. Was good to have a proper Delorean event again.

Thanks to the Delorean Club elders, Mike, Nick, Alistair, Arran and James for orchestrating everything.

Thanks to Julian and Lisa for the logistics help and just being great friends in general.

Thanks to Rich J and Darren for the auction. If there was anyone who you would want to inspect classic cars with it is Darren. Rich I want a Sax session next time!

Add to this Tyson, Maria, TT, Jason (Emily is a real credit to you mate), Pete, Dan, uncle Malc, aunty Gaye, Simon, Ben, Gez...the list goes on...

In summary this event and those attending it are the best part of my Delorean and the reason I will never sell it.

I would finally like to wish Alistair and Alex luck for their big day.

Fantastic weekend guys! These events are fantastic for so many reasons but for me it was the social experience this weekend.

Getting truely wasted on the first night with Alan H, Tom, Mandie, Adam, Rich and my brother Steve was errrrrr memorable

To then have a call from Steve at 10ish on the Saturday to say just as he was checking out with suitcase in one hand, he was greeted by Adam and a beer was swiftly passed into the other hand. You all witnessed the end result!

Casino night was the nuts, the whole weekend was superb!

Air con had to earn it's money on the drive home and it struggled to keep cool, cool but settled for coolish!

Thanks to Arran and his team once again. You are all Legends!

Until next time!

Amanda here! Just like to say I had a brilliant weekend at my first Eurotec, and was blown away by all that was crammed in and organised...brilliant! Would just like to thank you all for making me feel very welcome, and I owe lots of people lots of drinks!
I'll add some of my pics up next weekend (computer less until then :( ), but I'm sure Tom has plenty more to stick up than me! ;)

Well as everyone has already said what an amazing event, I’m not going to call it an amazing weekend after all we were there from Wednesday night!

Big thanks to Nick T for adjusting my fuelling on the rolling road and giving me some other areas to investigate to resolve a couple of minor running issues.

Arran and all of the staff at Caley Hall, there could be no better venue.

I felt the event just never stopped, from putting up the tent (or winners enclosure as I liked to think if it) on Thursday, fiddling with the cars, enjoying Ed and Mike doing their Wheeler Dealers filming, Scalextrix racing, to the auction (£2700 raised!!!!) the speech by Rodger, casino night and cocktails, to taking the tent down on the Sunday morning and packing it away for another year, just non stop fun for all involved.

Every year just gets better and better, and I’m already sure that next year will be better still.

I hope I can get the time to get more involved for the planning of the 2012 event, which should be even more fun for all involved.

See you all soon, I have a few pics of Ed and Mike below, photographed with the very rare fastest Auto DeLorean lol

Ah yes of course the auction, my tired brain slipped that last night.
To raise over £2700 in one auction is phenomenal, thanks to Roger Jarman for the items and his local branch of the MS society is a great cause.

Rogers speech was also delivered in his great personality! And some great stories!

That was such a brilliant weekend! We both had a great time, and Adam even remembers some of it.

I'd like to add to the thanks to Arran and his wonderful friendly staff.

Also cheers to Nick for helping to fathom my rolling road result, and to Al for saving my embarrassment by giving Gez the slowest car award.

Mr 'Red Vinyl' - I cannot remember your name, but thanks for helping me with my door rubber.

Mr 'De-Blacked Car' - thank you for displaying your amazing engine bay and inventing a new emotion in me, a cross between inspiration and a profound sadness.

And thanks to all the Lovely Ladies for looking after Adam and making sure he didn't get too drunk.

See you in November if not before!

Glad to hear that. I got stuck on the a12 through London without a working A/C and luckily the fans kicked in.. Complete traphic jam and no shoulder. I still have a sore leg from hill-starts on the slopes. So glad i replaced my bad clutch line with a SS one!
