12 weeks from tomorrow I will be getting the ferry to Liverpool before a 6 hour drive to Arrans. I have a pile of Delorean bits that need to be made into a car. So here's the plan

A repaired chassis by end of month, rolling chassis by 23rd April, then get as many people to mine as possible to fit engine etc weekend of 24/25 April. That gives me May to get MOT, tax and registration.

I have a spare room with a double bed and there is a selection of local hotels and B&B's (possibly including Warren House) all within close proximity.

Hopefully some can make it, beer will be provided as well as food.

Ryanair have 4 seats left on 08:15 no taxes flight from Stanstead at £12.49 all in

Homeward flights are

13:50 no taxes flight £31.99 (3 seats left)
20:10 regular flight £53ish

So for £44 or £75 return

EDIT £366 return for Holyhead to Dublin 3 hour ferry. So if there is 4 in a car to share this it might be an idea

I'd love to have come to this as I do love working on engines, but unfortunately a family event was already booked first

As a suggestion I have looked up info on flights with Ryanair for 8/9th May weekend. At the minute from East Midlands and Stanstead they are £40.73 rtn. If anyone is interested in coming across this is probably a good time to be available.

That sounds good, Alastair would you be interested in going over? We could both go from stanstead.
