Getting the rack in place went pretty smoothly, but then the skies opened and it began raining as the rack was attached to the steering column. The wheels went back on and as the light faded Chris managed to retrack the car and remove and realign the steering wheel.
A big thank you goes out to Chris for being so generous with his time and taking the trouble to help me out tonight, in the pouring rain, reburbing and fitting the rack. I really appreciate it and I can't wait to get my car back out on the road.
