Goodevening everybody,

After heavy braincrushing and spilling out ideas we Belgians are going to organise a Belgian Event in respons to all the excellent ones we went to in the UK. We would be honoured to show a different side of Belgium to all of you and let you enjoy all the good stuff (I know, beer always springs to mind but there is more!).

DCB-12Date: from Thursday 17th of May 2012 to Sunday 20th 2012

Hotel location with protected sub terrain parkinglot will be in Ieper (In the center of Flanders fields and about 1 hour drive from calais)
Rough guide(details will change in time)

Thursday 17th
From midday to evening: arrival of guests in Hotel IEPER
Welcome dinner

Friday 18th
Drive through Flanders and visit of Flanders Fields
Specific locations to be confirmed but we are looking at some impressive stuff :)
Evening in local bar of Delorean owner, Delorean & BTTF decorated for the occasion
Coaches from & to the hotel will be available to avoid drinking & driving!

Saturday 19thA day in Bruges!
Cars will be allow to park on a central public square with security.
Media coverage (TV, newspapers) will take place during this time
Possibilities to do a touristic walkaround / shopping frenzy or a tour in "The Fool Of Bruges" brewary
Return to Ieper for the last dinner

Sunday 20th

A late breakfast (probably), some asperine, sunglasses and soft noises for all those hangovers
Departure of guests to their respective countries

Sounds good?
To discuss hotelroom prices we need to have a rough estimate who would like to join us. I know it's difficult but who's up for this?

We had some much fun on previous occasions we would like to return the favor :)

During Eurofest next year we should have flyers ready and will inform all clubs in Europe close to Belgium.

Greets!
Frederik
PS: DCB-12 stands for Delorean Club Belgium, but can also mean Delorean Convention Belgium. The 12 is a reference to our favorite car but also 2012...It works on so many levels...we thought about that one! ;-)

As mentioned in Luxembourg Frederik - yes I'm in! - although it will be a busy month after that, but sounds good!

Really is easy to get to as well - probably nearer than *a hotel in the UK* even for some UK people.

Having done it now I can say the tunnel is really easy and quick - no faffing about and if you're lucky you just drive straight on. "Leper" is 1 hour from Calais, and most of that journey the French side is very nice - apart from the speed cameras, but Dan doesn't worry about them! ;)

Nope and I won't worry about them until they change the law :)
