Hi all! Finally here is the thread!

By popular request we're once again doing another "smaller" meet-up here at Caley Hall Hotel in Norfolk - on Friday 4th / Saturday 5th November 2011.

All friends of the club are welcome - owners and non-owners alike - this is all about socialising and meeting new faces (For the next EuroTec (big event) in June 2012 please click here). For pictures of our previous events please click here

As with the highly successful sell-out EuroTec events in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 and the upcoming event in June 2012, this will be centred around Arran's private hotel. Rather than the 40-car summer events, the focus here is on socialising (the car park will be a bit too cold!). If you've never been before don't be scared! Many people who come to these meet-ups only know one or two others (or less). This is a good way to meet up with like minded people and swap tips, then show them who's boss on the Nintendo Wii! For non-owners there will be more time to ask questions, look around the cars, etc.

Unlike the main June EuroTec event we're still selling rooms to the general public, so we won't have exclusive use of the entire hotel. I would advise booking early, since the Saturday night will sell out - you can always cancel with no charge if you need to up to 3 days before.

The Itinerary: (1,2,3,or 4 nights available! - 2 night example shown below)
- Arrive Friday from 12:00 onwards
- Socialise, congratulate those who've braved the cold/snow in their DeLoreans
- Buffet dinner with wine at 8:00pm
- Beer / Nintendo Wii, etc.
- Sleep
- Saturday - Breakfast
- Hang around car park kicking tyres, etc., wander to the beach
- Buffet lunch in the bar at 1:00
- Leisurely drive out / exploration (mixture of cars)
- Meet in the bar ready to leave at 6:30pm for a 5 minute walk to:
- Hunstanton Fireworks Display and Funfair (Bonfire starts at 6pm, fireworks at 7pm and 7:45pm) - £4 per person

- Buffet dinner with wine at 8:30
- Beer / Nintendo Wii, etc.
- Sleep
- Sunday - Breakfast
- Go home

Total Price for 2 nights of accommodation and the 5 meals: (dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast):
(these prices are early booking prices and WILL go up suddenly! Book now to get these prices)

Sharing a double or twin room: £75 total per person (just £37.50 per person per night! including all meals and Sat lunch!)
Single occupancy of a double room: £110 total (just £55 per room per night! including all meals and Sat lunch!)

ALTERNATIVELY - Price for just the Saturday night with 3 meals: (lunch, dinner, breakfast)
(these prices are early booking prices and WILL go up suddenly! Book now to get these prices)

Sharing a double or twin room: £55 total per person (subtract £5 if not here for Saturday lunch)
Single occupancy of a double room: £80 total (subtract £5 if not here for Saturday lunch)

YES - THESE PRICES INCLUDE ALL MEALS!

If you would like to extend your stay to include the Thursday and/or Sunday night as well then the extra nights would be just £20 per person per night for B&B only, plus we'll give you 50% discount off of food purchased on these days and the afternoon after. Everyone staying Friday night will also get a 50% discount off bar food purchased on Friday before 3pm.

If you would like to come along for just the day on Saturday only then you're more than welcome - you'll just have to pay for lunch if you want it (£5 per person). If you would like to come along for either evening meal without staying then it would be £15 per person for either night. Please just mention it in this thread if you are going to come along for either day (without staying), or if you have any other questions. If you'd rather not post here  then click here to send a message to Arran now.

All welcome!

lol - well it's the same as March - I just copied and pasted the MarchTec thread!

I know I said to some of you that I may do a fireworks display in my garden. Well - there would seem little point. The big Old Hunstanton Fireworks display is only 5 minutes away on foot, has a funfair and stuff, and is very good. Then I did think I would just do our own one on the Friday, but I am going to my kids school one then (you won't miss me!), so not really possible/any point.
So basically we just have dinner 30 minutes later on the Saturday, and go up the road beforehand, and let someone else worry about the health and safety! :D
