Dono if this is the right category to post in... Mods go ahead to move if not/

So I met your fellow British Delorean owner...err COUGH!!! I meant TIME MACHINE!!!
And I got a taste of what Time Machine owners do in the UK.
FIGHT! Or is it just Steven who feels his is THE ONE conversion that does not get the right a mount of appreciation??
sorry for the poor photos. Smart phone cam.
I have also made some with my DSLR if anyone wants some HDs (which I doubt... :P)

overall a very "tired" delorean with I'd say a 88% movie accurate setup.
I have to give to Steven the fact that he gets around with his one and only love making him a respectable allowance on the side ;)
but then again....

Did you get a chance to talk to him and get your own opinion on him?

To be fair he's pretty good at making it pay, so good on him I say. Just a shame that he comes across as a complete twat :(

I've always been suprised that there are enough people out there willing to pay money for a bttf car to make it a viable business, but there obviously is.

Yes Rob. We spoke... Err he spoke for over 2 hours.
What gives him credit is the use of the universal studios logo and images.
Gets any interested individual or business to go for "the real thing".

I love was bummed off a bit when I invited him out for a couple cold ones.
Apparently he doesn't drink. Then I said "okay, you got 6 days in Athens if you feel bored and want to do something give me a call"

His reply was always, "you can come and look at the car again if you like, it will be in the lobby" :s

Then it became clear. His whole life, day and night is that set of wheels. An obsession is an understatement.
That also explains him not taking any "shit" about his replica. Oh I am sorry I called it a replica. I meant his time machine! :)

It was rented by the group of hotels that run intercontinental across Europe for a managers meet. They did a shoot up in the UK as if the manager is coming from the future 2025, to Athens in 2014 to teach them you know that kind of a cheesy theme.

What they don't know is that while time traveling you can't select a different destination of arrival. Just time.
But that should get the managers going at the seminar workshop :p

That explains a lot. "Get a life" never was this appropriate.

Yes that the term, although very unfair.

I prefer to turn down people who act of bad intention.
Steven is not really bad intended. He is just overly proud of is possession and the attention it gives him does not help tune down his ego.

So not somebody I would avoid. Just somebody I will not prefer for fun.

Ce' la vie;)

Wow, the world of BTTF cars seems pretty cut throat! :?
But wanted to question (light-heartedly) your whole 'different time but same location' theory.
If just travelling forward in time, you would be in a whole heap of trouble. I'll explain......
You see the planet spins, it also circles the Sun, the solar system rotates around our galaxy, our galaxy is moving with the expansion of the Universe.
Combined we are travelling at approx. (ie made up number) 500,000 miles an hour.
Any time travel that didn't move/track location would end quite disastrously!
As you were.........

Damn!
Suck that Einstein (the person not Doc's dog).

That is such a well best theory! You could be arriving somewhere in outer space with at a constant traveling speed of 500.000 m/h into eternity...or until you hit some rock out there :)
