Looking at you number plate, are there in excess of 120,000 registered 1981 cars in Eire?

More likely there are 10 cars registered since the new plates were introduced. I think Dublin had 6 numbers after the 'D" whereas other smaller cities/counties have only 5 (or 4)

That's the new classic reg number system they brought in here a couple of years ago all regs start with 120000 so now If u bring one in it starts with 81-d - 120001 and so on ..dont like it .
it looks way to long.
also you can go for an official 'classic plate ' and they all start with zv's and numbers start with 10000..
