I havent been pulled by the fuzz yet and ive passed a few. I decided to add the build date to the plate too hence the 10 one side and 81 the other.

TY for that....TBH there are that many folk with bad plates now they haven't got the time.... It has your reg on it big and clear....

Well you say that, but I’ve been nicked 8 times for it, the last one of which was in my D’ coming back from Belfast in a convoy of about 6 or 7 cars

No idea. Ive not been pulled for it yet myself. I do have the proper one in the trunk so i can always swap it there and then and then swap it back once im home

Oh, and that's a £100 fine for each offending item. So if you're also running with either no front number plate or an illegal (american style) front plate, then that's another £100.
