Haha!
After the last year, it's easy to forget the day/month/year!
It was well worth the wait though and a great turnout for a meet under restrictions. Whilst we got lucky with the weather, I never noticed any difference to an ordinary meet, except for the table service which I definitely did not grumble at!
Great to see some of the familiar faces there, most of the elder statesmen (of which I now include myself in) were in attendance and on good form. As well as new owners Ben and Darren - thanks again for the room on the Friday.
As usual there was a lot of 'Tec' activity and tyre kicking in the car park, with some great progress on A/C checks, fuel pressure testing and other diagnostics going on. I didn't get a chance for a check-over this time, but I did invite some technical help via Nick T and Tony’s superior knowledge, due to a classic Carlos cock up. Moral of the story, if you have more than 2 wires connected to something take a photo before pulling them all out! The JRG switch aligner looks mint though.
Thanks also to Miles for adjusting my doors - something I didn't ask for - but have definitely benefited from as not only do they close better, they now meet the door light sensor and my passenger side locks! Bonus! I know Miles still isn't happy with them, but I'm over the moon!
A good laugh and long overdue reunion of great friends... Here's a few action shots from the weekend... Look forward to doing all again in October!
