Guys I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed the event. Meeting everyone and watching and kicking all those tyres was fantastic. I enjoyed my first real test drive in a D also. Thanks also to Carl for lunch. Looking forward to October already!

My pleasure Darren - hope you enjoyed the ride in 11777 - the mighty Auto prevails once again! :D

Good luck with your restoration and aim for October! There’s no shame arriving on a flatbed either. ;)

All the best

Ahh ffs an auto... so you are saying he still hasn't had a test drive in a proper one......

They say those who drive auto's end up unable to walk in a straight line due to the left leg wasting away.

Beats having a knackered knee joint from the manual clutch ;)

I am with you there :) my left knee gets worse over time and I always promise my next one will be an automatic..

I recall Jezzers saying "manuals are for folk who like revving between gear changes so avoid them" ;)

It is true that I have Never been in a manual Delorean. But I have been in / or driven two auto Deloreans so 2:0 to mighty auto!

I now also own two auto gearbox’s, another 2:0!

Hopefully one will run soon!

Hi guys,

My girlfriend received a parking ticket this morning for when she dropped by The Dragonfly on the Saturday to say ‘hello’. She was there for less than 30 mins and has been charged £100 for the privilege!

Just wondering if anyone else received a parking ticket? I’m guessing this will have affected anyone that didn’t stay overnight and therefore check in? If so, it’s not very clear on the signage and this has never happened before when coming over for the day…

If anyone else got caught out by this perhaps we can approach the hotel about it together and hopefully get them to overturn it?

Is that BS number plate recognition. I would speak with the hotel and explain the situation and see if it can be revoked
