OK - here it is....:

By very popular request, for March 2025 we are again returning to Caley Hall.
This is over the weekend of 14th and 15th March 2025 - with some keen people arriving on Thursday 13th March.

All friends of the club are welcome - owners and non-owners alike - this is all about socialising and meeting new (and some old!) faces.

Image

As with the highly successful sell-out EuroTec events from "back in the day", this will be centred around the same hotel that, shall we say, has a very close link to me personally - link here: http://www.caleyhallhotel.co.uk
Rather than the 40-car summer events, the focus here is on socialising (the car park will be a bit too cold!). If you've never been before don't be scared! Many people who come to these meet-ups only know one or two others (or less). This is a good way to meet up with like minded people and swap tips, for non-owners there will be more time to ask questions, look around the cars, etc.

The hotel is open to the general public, but not many of them, so we won't have exclusive use of the entire hotel - but we have block booked 95% of it (because 5% was already booked). This event will sell out, guaranteed.

The Itinerary: (1,2 or 3 nights available! - 2 night example shown below)
- Arrive Friday from 12:00 onwards
- Socialise, congratulate those who've braved the cold/snow in their DeLoreans
- Buffet dinner at 8pm-ish
- Beer etc. (bar is open late!)
- Sleep
- Saturday - Breakfast
- Hang around car park kicking tyres, etc., wander to the beach
- Buffet lunch in the bar at 1:00
- Explore the local seaside town of Hunstanton - probably bowling (will sort this nearer the time)
- Buffet dinner at 8:00
- Beer etc. (bar is open late!)
- Sleep
- Sunday - Breakfast
- Go home

Total Price for 2 nights of accommodation and the 5 meals: (dinner, breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast):

Sharing a double or twin room: £175 total per person(£350 total bill per couple) (£87.50 per person per night including all meals and Sat lunch!)
Single occupancy of a double room: £260 total (£130 per room per night including all meals and Sat lunch!)

ALTERNATIVELY - Price for just the just the Saturday night only with 2 meals: (dinner, breakfast) - note "Friday only" is not available now.
Sharing a double or twin room: £180 total per couple) (£90 per person per night including all meals)
Single occupancy of a double room: [b]£135 total
(£135 per room per night including all meals)

YES - THESE PRICES INCLUDE ALL MEALS!

If you would like to extend your stay to include the Thursday night as well then the extra night would be just £70 per room for B&B only (based on 2 people sharing), or £55 for single occupancy (B&B only). These rates are really very attractive even for this time of year.

If you would like to come along (without staying) for just the day on Saturday only then you're more than welcome - you'll just have to pay for lunch if you want it, or evening meal (not sure on prices for that yet) - only if you want it. Please ideally just mention it in this thread if you are going to come along for either day (without staying), or if you have any other questions. If you'd rather not post here  then click here to send a message to Arran now.

All welcome!

How to book:

At the moment, due to high demand leading to a shortage of rooms, this cannot be booked via the hotel directly.

For the next few days you can just go through me or ideally Darren Hirons - email me at arran at deloreango dot com is easiest, but there are many other ways! I'm not hard to find.
Due to a couple of "no shows" and very late cancellations last year, there will be some form of deposit taken by the hotel, with a cancellation policy. I will have more details on this within a few days - but at the moment if you book in via Darren or me that will be good enough, and we'll be in contact soon with how to guarantee the room (probably via a phone call or payment link to the hotel).

This can't be booked online via the hotel's website, because this date has been blocked off to stop anyone (else) booking. But there are rooms available at the moment for all variations except "Friday only" which is now not available (i.e. if you're wanting to come on Friday there is a minimum stay of 2 nights).

Currently we are at 37 people booked in. There are still a couple of rooms left so let one of us (anyone really!) know if you want to be on the list. Those that are - we'll be in touch in the next few days with deposit details.

Yep - everyone is booked in with the hotel. The hotel is closed for the next 2 weeks, so we'll probably sort the deposits out etc. after then. But for now all of the rooms are officially booked in and everyone is safely in (I have the rooming list in hand). 47 people booked in in total so far.
Currently there is 1 room available on the Friday night and 4 rooms available on the Saturday night.

Once the hotel are ready to start processing deposits I'll be in touch (within about 2 weeks).

Still at 47 people, with 1 room remaining on the Friday and 3 rooms remaining on the Saturday. The hotel will stop holding these remaining rooms exclusively for us in a couple of days, so if you're interested in coming and haven't yet booked, now is the time - just let one of us / anyone know.
