Is that a full length speedo cable Dan, or just bottom half?

Hi Julian, Its the top half of the speedo cable. Nothing wrong with it, I just removed it and the lambda counter and put one long cable in my old car.

Dan, sorry to hijack your thread. Do you recall if there is a UK source for the 1 piece cable, or do you have order via Hervey?

Hi Mike,

Yep, this company make them up to order: http://www.speedograph-richfield.com/

The cable you need is the same as an original top half as it has the right ends, but you want it 1m long. I did litteraly thousands of miles with mine and no problems from the angledrive.

When I got mine I sent them my original top half so they could match up the ends.

The one from hervy is a homemade bodge up, joined up with heatshrink - don't bother with it.

I tried and I failed. I don't like dealing with companies like them personally - just don't have the time for it. They take inefficient and unmodernised to a whole new level! ;)

We did manage to eventually get the lower cable out of them, but it took some doing! :( viewtopic.php?f=113&t=2245

I told them it was for a kit car, didn't mention delorean as its not a standard part, and somtimes mentioning delorean people assume your rich or a nob and the price goes up ;)
