This is one of the few "must have" upgrades for the 5-speed DeLorean. The original plastic clutch line is affected by heat on hot days and starts swelling when you push the pedal, limiting the movement at the clutch causing hard shifting, especially into reverse. It is visible where it drops down at the rear of the left front wheel well. If it's black, it is original and needs changing!
