A few people have been talking about these recently with all the cars being imported/sold etc.

So I had a word with Don today at Stainless Exhaust Specialists at Nottingham who manufacture units for the DeLorean, there was a very successful group buy back in 2009 from memory.

Price as it stands at the moment is

£815 plus vat - £978 unpolished add £60 if you want polished

If we can get 5 sold - then the price is

£775 plus vat - £930 unpolished add £55 if you want polished

If we can get 10 sold - then the price is

£734 plus vat - £880.80 unpolished add £50 if you want polished.

I think the unpolished version was more popular if I recall correctly?

Oh damn! This looks painfully nice. Especially when up are exhaust-less as I am...

Don't bother with the polishing, it discolours from the heat the 1st time you run the engine, I had a polished version, and certainly wouldn't bother if I were to order another one.

It's a super peice of kit though, really nicely made.

I do a fair bit of shipping around the world, I would guess it would be around £100 ish

These things always come up when disposable $$$ are in short supply Thats a great saving.

when I bought mine a couple of years ago I paid £54 of shipping to Italy (I don't remember if £54 was with or without VAT)


@AL: have you talked with Don about cat converters? these are the prices he gave me by email:
"The cats are £230 each and the heatshields are £50 each all plus vat and shipping."

Didn't know you are a neighbor of mine BABIS! That is actually a very good rate to have it shipped.
