Hey guys I found some more info which points the car more toward David Haynes (not John, sorry I misheard my Dad :? )

Here is a pic of him standing on the side of one of his Model T's in the 50's/60's, this one appears to be very similar to the one parked behind the Delorean.

Also, after showing him the pictures, my Dad said the piece of paper behind the windscreen on the drivers side is possibly what remains of the information card/plaque Haynes had near the car detailing its history and so on when it was in the showroom.

Nothing reliable or concrete, but it does make the story a little more interesting :)

To my knowledge, yes it is (I havent been there since I was about 12 years old but their website is still running and google maps still states it as a business)

I remember them having a lot of space out the back with some large buildings, and even though Mr. Haynes most probably had his own personal garage at his home for his favourites, I wouldnt be suprised if the car has been sitting in one of them just feet away from customers looking at the used Ford's out the back for over 20 years!

I thought most of the cars wig the burgundy interior were all supposed to be VERY early model productions.... With that being said, notice the hood looks to be a late production hood. No grooves and no gas flap.

It's appears to be the only car with a burgundy interior , it was known as the styling car.
More information has come to light which explains it had different door hinges which made the doors open further
