As we all were 'blown away' by this car, it is well worthy of its own thread on here.

Mr forgetful here has forgotton the guys name but im sure someone can help me out there. He came to EuroTec with Ed in 2007

As you can see this is not quite finished but he is hoping to get this completed in a week or so. And he is also hoping to come along with Ed etc at the next EuroTec rolling road ! :) All the stainless parts were designed and welded by him using the origional Legend 'layout' as a template.

He estimates this to put out around 250 BHP ....

Is this the car running a 2.5 Alpine PRV with twin turbos attached? What turbos are they?

It is a 'stock' DeLorean engine rebuilt with new forged pistons and internals gubbins, I have invited him on here to answer any questions people have ;)

Many thanks for sharing with us the pictures of this amazing car, especially the engine of course :D
Hope to see more picture of the car itself, and hear the owner talk about his project ;)

That's a 2.5 Renault turbo. It can't be an odd-fire because he's running wasted spark, and the intake manifold, throttle, water pump and crank pulley are also Z7U. He's done a much better job of what Rich J and I did with his Island kit (there's some info on DMCtalk also).

He's turned the turbos around to make it like the legend system... and now I look at it, he's done something clever with the manfolds because you can't just turn an island turbo around otherwise one will be really high up, and the other will be really low down. He's running coil packs which is the only solution if you can't work out how to mount a dizzy ;)

I'm impressed, and yes, the engine is capable of about 260 with the right map and intercooling.

It's the same basis I've used for my turbo conversion.

Just make sure the dizzy cap is the right way round so that the HT leads fit
