New time machine in the UK

I just thought i'd introduce myself here along with my new car. I know not all Delorean owners are big fans of the time machine conversions, so i'll keep it short ;)

I just need to finish up some small details such as convex mirrors (cheers Mike!) and some MOT requirements then she will be ready from next month. I have also designed a website for more information and photos. Feel free to have a quick browse and give me a call directly if you know anyone who would like to use the car for any type of event.

I would be more than happy to arrange a club meet when the weather is good so I can bring her along for those interested, and get to know everyone etc. :dmcdoors:

See you in the future!

Car looks great, hope to see it at an event sometime! I assume that's one of Bruce Coulombe's builds, AFAIK he's the only guy doing the hover-effect? Presumably it has all the neat sound effects & programmable time circuits (that most DIY builds lack)?

I'm actually discussing a BTTF makeover with Bruce myself ATM, but not the usual kind. If I do this it would be a unique to-hell-with-screen-accuracy build with five-phase flux capacitor, Mr Quantum Home Zero Point Reactor, all-new controls with late-80s look, USB-controlled time circuits drived from in-car PC etc.

Apologies for the lack of reply here people, I could have sworn I had ticked the notify option. Thanks for the comments, they are greatly appreciated.

She is now safe and sound in the UK after hurricane sandy almost had her way with the ship (RIP those who lost family however, far more important than some cars :( )

I will be arranging a meet shortly once I have her on the road for those interested. It will be available to ALL Delorean owners, regardless of forum preference ;) It will be great to meet some of you for a chat!

My first fuel bill:

Here's a quick picture once I had got home after a nice 600mile trip into early hours..

I will update the thread with some better pictures shortly.

p.s. Having never driven a Delorean before, I now know exactly how you lot feel when driving them. It's one heck of a special feeling, even if the door mirrors are seized up and the heater squeals
