So in preparation of a 3-day Netherlands tour with my dad i checked out the car, only to find (yet another) coolant leak.

The source was quickly found. The video explains it quite well and this was after the engine ran for maybe 5 minutes.

I guess it needs to be replaced. Thank goodness it isn't very expensive

Drama evaded. Took out the failing valve and swapped it with a temporary piece of 5/8th pvc tube. My first stop this tuesday will be Ed's he should have a new one in stock, if all fails i'll just plug it straight into the T-piece.

Lots of cars use that valve. Jaguars are an example

Just got home this afternoon from a well deserved 3 day trip through my home country. My car hasn't done much driving the past years but she behaved excellent all the way! These new injectors from Nick had an amazing effect, and after a complimentary AC refill at Ed's place it was a cool trip all the way.

(The pvc tube was replaced with a copper pipe because it didn't feel right)
