I replaced the fuel return hose.

Wow. At this pace it'll take 100 years to finish

Today I threw the intake in there. Attached a couple of wires too. I'm still trying to figure out the proper b28e wiring and vacuum routing.

I'm waiting for an ultrasonic cleaner to sort the dirty Volvo parts.

Thanks guys! Got an ultrasonic cleaner, and had a go at the throttle body. Cleaned up the other injection parts as well. Ready for some major progress over the weekend!

Spent most of the evening drilling out one broken allen bolt on the metering plate housing. But all good now.

Got a couple of hours in today. Installed some more fueling stuff. Tried to route the vacuum according to advice from another thread here.

I more or less just have to pop in the injectors and attach the lines and I'm done?!?!

Its gonna be super scary to try to start it.

Progress! I did the vacuum lines according to best b28e practice found in a different thread here. Done.

I got most of the electricals done to, bar two unidentified connectors.

I'm debating whether I should install the b28e cold start bypass valve. I still need to locate it though, in my ever growing pile of parts.

Next up is hooking up the throttle linkage, then the fuel lines and injectors.

Put some coolant in and she should be ready to go!

Maybe I'll Crank it up next weekend!

How stupid can you get? The two connectors in the photo go together!!!! I had to go to a friends house and check out his pristine example to finally realize the obvious...

That completes all my electric connections and vacuum lines. Encouraged by this I hastily decided to pull everything apart again to re-route the wiring harness. That didn't work out as planned, so tomorrow I have to put everything back together the way it was, and get on with the fuel lines.

I also got 9kg of coolant today, once that's in, I'm about ready to go...
