Did you manage to tighten down the hoses alright? I don't think I nipped mine up properly. When I went to tighten down the nut on the fixed line the flexible hose would rotate within the chassis mounting. Think I need to shim the hose within the mounting.

I replaced the plywood on the passenger side on my other car a few years ago. It was rotten. Look up project 3193 I think it was post from around 2008 or 2009 . Ended up making my own board. Just used a router and a wood saw and some pva glue. Was quite pleased with the result. I did post pictures of the construction. Used the old one as a template. From memory it was 1/2inch ply. Good luck.

I got my hoses from deloreango and they came with locking washers that in my case did a great job. The flex hose held steady while tightening the 13mm fixed line but. No need to exaggerate tightening them down either, snug will do.

hi

yeah. didn't try to over do it, but the driver's near side is weeping. noticed it when i was replacing the clutch hose.

plus the off side front flex hose as rotated and now fouls the upper control arm in some conditions. need to go back in and shim then.

the appeture for the hose is narrower than the mating surface on the arm so as it gets pulled tighter it has nothing to fit against and moves around. must just be me. I'll give it another bash.

Om my car there are brackets with sort of hex inserts that keep the flex hoses from rotating.

Wow great and inspiring work! I'll do the same when I get to the interior.

Btw what's going on in this photo?

I'm reattachingthe rear speaker card. I've used a polyurethane adhesive and used the clips to hold the vinyl to the underbody. The cling film is to prevent the clips from sticking to the adhesive and vinyl.

Got a short work session in today as well. Fitted the front right caliper and flex hose.

In addition I completed the last of the rear calipers, since I got another shipment of parts today. :)

I also installed the rear right caliper. The last caliper has got some fouled threads so I need to run a threading tap through them before I fit the hard line. The necessary bits are in the mail.

Slow but steady progress:

Got the clutch slave installed without any issues. Also cleaned out the clutch fluid reservoir. Paint thinner and a homemade giant q-tip did it.
