Great work there Shane!

BTW, is that a gold 1600E that we can see in the background?

Finally got to sort the beading for the heater matrix pipes.

Found a place in or near Silverstone that do manual tube beaders for that size :
http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/accessorie ... tools.html
Some cool stuff on there when I had a look around..
Not quite the same as proper bead roller machine bead, but will do the job just as good I think.

Pipe pitting was worse on closer inspection and had some down the middle of the pipe aswell

Still had my original radiator, so got that refurbed. Came out lovely I think.. Blasted and painted the frame, re cored, and new brass tanks fitted. Nice to have parts looking new again to move the enthusiasm up a wee bit..

Got my springs back from re-powdercoating. The front ones are relatively new so were not bad just needing a freshen up.
The rears were original and looking very tired. So I got a brand new custom set made up.

I wanted to lower the rear slightly to make it more relative to the fronts. still keep the nose low rake as before, but not as pronounced..

Looking forward to eventually fitting them

Great job, I’ve had an account with Earls in Silverstone for about 20 odd yrs, have loads of stuff off them.
