Its update time again, I have been working over the last week on all the electrical looms, getting rid of all the crimps that had been added by previous owners...

All the joints are now soldered and heat shrunk, this is what i ended up with at the end ...

And i found out why my reverse lights have never worked ! ...

Then we come on to today, Chassis collection day !!!

I went to Alex's this morning, we spent a few hours going over all the area's and doing a little fettling here and there, i got a couple of action shots...

Then the chassis saw daylight once more !

So we loaded it back on the trailer and its going off to the Galvanisors and powder coaters tommorow morning :dance:

I've also picked up all the suspension parts from the powder coaters, no pics of these yet as they are still wrapped up but once unpacked i'l post some

How does corrosion not set in again after welding work prior to the galvanising?
i.e. is a temporary rust inhibitor applied?

Hi Chris

Thanks ! No nothing applied, just made sure I have kept it dry, it will have a light blasting before galv, as you can see in the pic though no rust has really formed which is great, the inside is still all clean so should be good to go :thumbsup:

Thanks Jez, its going to a place that Alex has used 3 times before call BMT in Great Yarmouth
