Right then a small update today...

the other day i was intrigued as to what was under that plate on the front so i had a little grind ...

Whoever had welded the plate on had only welded it to the chassis on one side ! the other side was welded to the renforcer bracket...

So after that i thought do i grind off the big plate underneath, I thought better of it as i think the front end would probably fall off, so Friday came around and i picked up the official chassis trailer off Dan and got the chassis strapped down and ready to go...

Then this morning (Monday) at 5.30am I left for Dudley !

Ah that brings back memories!! That chassis trailer of Dan's is the business :D He even lent me his car to tow it with too! :thumbsup: #reapthebenefits

Superb pics mec! I'm surprised my trailer didn't end up with a set of alloys on it for the trip ;)

I can't wait to see in a few weeks what it looks like all stripped back to bare metal. Funny to think this is the first time its been apart like that since 1981.

Yep should be interesting to see what’s left a Dan
The old trailer did me prowd, looking at those pics with gez’s chassis, looks like it could do with a new coat of paint now lol
I didn’t add any alloys but I did clean the wheels and lacquer the tyres ;)
