If its the hardened wet chemical I'm thinking of, Alex should have a plenty in the tank downstairs at his gaff. I think it's J12 brand trade stuff and although looks hard to get off, it should flex off easily as it's crispy in effect.

Keep up the good work Eric, I'm enjoying the pictures of the project :D

Rang prostrip on Thu afternoon and they said It can be ready FRI midday onwards, so quick afternoon booking off work.

"Try to not let it get wet" said Alex :o

Friday morning hail/rain/gales, forecast for Nottingham hail/rain/gales, forecast for Great Yamouth hail/rain/gales in the evening.

As luck would have it we had the rain on the way to Nottingham by which time it had brightened up. I was happy they had it undercover so onto the trailer.

How do you cover a chassis ?

Wrap it of course..... and yes that level of wrapping on a street wasn't easy :) Praise be for gaffer tape.

Luckily managed to get it to Alex's for 17:45 just before the heavens opened.

Nothing major from the dip, but we reckon its had a dink in the rear at some point, something I always suspected but all things Alex can take care of.

So 3 days before the month estimate its dropped with the "fixer" and fingers crossed I don't need to worry about it for a month or two, What a drive, A roads all the way going via Nottingham but what a lovely drive back coming down south nearly to Cambridge and it was all motorways.

05 am start 11 pm finish … :violin:

Nice one. Tell you what Pro Strip ought to be paying me commission. Mine was the first one they did, they weren’t even sure they could do it at the time. They must have done about 20 of em’ since.
