VIN 4872 is a bit of a sordid car. The history seems to be absolutely all over the place, however I seem to have been able to make some what of a timeline. Full vin: SCEDT26TXBD004872

History:

Sold to USA in Oct 1981, supplied via Dealer 5153 Great Falls Virginia

Previous front end crash

Brought to UK in 2010

Restored with parts from VIN 10458 (1983)

Registered YKR543X on Thurs Sept 30th 2010.
In storage from 2015-2017

Sold via:

Brooklands Motor Museum (August 29th 2015)
£25,200 with false history & incorrect mileage (6900)

South Western Vehicle Auction, Fake Car History: Originally supplied to the USA in 1981, YKR 543X was imported in 2000 and in the first year was used by its then owner after which it was stored and used very sparingly by the second UK owner. The vehicle was purchased by the vendor in 2015 and has been in storage since. Sold in 2017 to WebbsofWeybridge for £21,250 (2017-Present)

No one should buy the weybridge car if it ever comes up for sale. Its not maintained and people abuse the car when they hire it. It needs alot of work
