Nobody got hurt or injured, which is the main thing. It's easier to fix metal and plastic than it is flesh and bones.

Good luck with it all :D

Yes you're right.
I can always repair it with patience and time, it would have been more difficult if I was hurt.
Guess somebody's watching me somewhere, thanks.

Wow that really was fast...! - I sent the stainless pins on Wednesday night, I thought it might be a better idea for you to use those. That is the correct factory size as well now.

Yes, both items arrived at the same time today :)
Thanks you very much for the SS pins, those won't rust and last for the next 30 years

I think I need to drill this one to avoid any loosing nut. Can't see any new upper ball joint with a hole.

Yes, none of the upper ball joints come with the hole, so you will need to drill it - the procedure is on the attached file. In a further bulletin, the information said "in some cases the castellated nut cutouts may have to be filed deeper to allow insertion of a cotter pin."
Obviously the washer will have to be removed too.

But where did that ball joint come from...? If that is one of Ed's then the castle nut won't match as he uses different threads to the original (his are M12)

I think I bought the upper ball joint from ED, I have to check my invoice.
Thank you for the PDF file ;)
