I would also recommend upgrading the top assembly since the old ones can fail - for this you need 4 x 109089 and 4 x 109087 (and 4 x 109085 if you want new nuts too)

If it is 18mm there is no direct AF spanner equivalent. The closest is 3/8 whit or 7/16 BSF.
17mm is pretty much 11/16 AF & 19mm is 3/4 AF
& yes I am old enough

You're right about the wrench (spanner) it it 18 indeed. (exactly 17.5 I think but its fine)

The new ball joint match perfectly on the arm, I didn't drill much I think.
Can you please tell me where to drill the hole for the pin?
I guess it is a 3mm hole?

It's a 3.2mm hole (1/8inch), as for where, personally I don't know (does anyone else?). I think you will need to attach it to the car first - as per the original instructions - download/file.php?id=9688 - which do say you should drill the hole after the ball joint is on the car and the nut is on tight.

The originals didn't have a hole... that's why the this document was released as a recall, which told the dealers to drill a hole.
