Yes, especially after 2 years working on the car and not be able to drive it, now the sun is coming...
The clutch pedal is working fine, even when the engine is running. I am able to go to first gear and release the clutch pedal then accelerate but the car doesn't move. The gear is on and if I don't press the pedal I can't move it, so that's good. I have to press the pedal to change gear.
I wasn't sure if I was able to remove the gearbox on axle stands because of their height and the weight of the gear box.
But if you did it, I may be able to do it also. Do you have any pic somewhere by any chance?
No, I still did not ordered any parts, as it occurred yesterday.
Thanks, I'll try to keep the faith, but I must admit, I'm angry against the car right now, I took care of her during the past two year and she made me another problem...
Will I be able to come to the UK someday to meet all the team, I hope so!

Sorry Domi, no pics of box removal.
I bought this to help me:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-53095-F ... B000MPRJD4. But I know people here have done it without.
I think the car had to be quite high, and I also had it on stands at the front- I was doing everything at the time.
My feeling with these cars is always that you are better doing it yourself than giving it to a garage if you can. It will be cheaper and almost certsinly a better job. In my case, though, it is always just really slow.
I need to take my box out again at some point for the synchro to be replaced. In this case I will remove the box myself tho and deliver it to a UN1 specialist for the work I think... one instance where I may not do everything myself!,
Some notes, maybe not relevant

The amazon link is quite interesting!
Anyway, thanks for the good advice.
You're right, I prefer to do the job myself, even if I spent several month, at least the car is at home and once the job is done, it's quite satisfying

Hello everyone, it’s already been a long time since my last message.
I was working on my house, so the car had to wait until now…
I would like to order a kit like this one from J. Hervey but here.
