Hi Delorean,

I am contacting you with regards to a theatrical/musical project with "NEON NEON" in Cardiff ...

Part of the show involves tracks from the record "stainless style"a concept record based on the life of John Delorean ..

Stainless Style is the debut album from Neon Neon—a project from Super Furry Animalsfront man Gruff Rhys and electronic artist Boom Bip—which was released in March 2008 via Lex Records. The album was streamed in its entirety on the band's Myspace page for one week before its physical release. [9]
Stainless Style is a loose concept album based on the tumultuous life of DeLorean Motor Company founder John DeLorean,[10] and features a number of high-profile guest appearances from Fab Moretti of The Strokes, Har Mar Superstar, Yo Majesty, Spank Rock,Cate Le Bon and Fatlip. The album was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Music Prize.[11]

We would be most grateful if you could supply 2 Delorean cars for the production???
They would be on show to the audience,in the CARPARK of the venue and make an entrance into the venue at one point with the singer of the band as a passenger..

It's something we've already done in LA....

This will be a very publicised event and will take place beginning may this year...

It would be really awesome if you could help us..

Hi Arran I just wanted to introduce myself, my name is Richard and I am the Company Stage Manager/Technical Manager for this project and I believe there maybe the possibility of the deLorean club being able to show up each night during the run of shows in Cardiff? This would be incredible if we could sort this out and we would need one car per show if that would be possible? If you could liaise with me from now on that would be fantastic as I'm the person who is going to be looking after the show during the run. Thanks for your help. Cheers Rich

No possibility that I'm aware of?! Is anyone interested in this at all? I'm assuming it will be well paid

I learnt the exact same way.

I was assured 'all guests are great respectful people'. What happens 30mins in? A drunk old hag runs in overexcited and launches herself on the bonnet, THEN has the cheek to ask for a photo. The moment of my suspension sinking is still clear in my mind in slow motion. :evil:

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that the band that got the doc to attend there last show about 5 years back promised them access to the show they would have someone looking out for there cars all night and it didn't pan out that way not even tickets to get into the show. All they done was used them for there show and dot of f**ked them off ? If I'm wrong I'm sorry but I don't think I am
